Riku Harada is Risa's older down-to-earth twin sister; she is assertive, brazenly stubborn, and outspoken. Unlike her feminine sister, Riku's hair is cut much shorter, and she holds an intense dislike for Dark Mousy ever since she caught him outside her window, right after taking a shower. The fact that he stole her first kiss as well, during their second encounter, contributed to her dislike of him. She is a very independent and selfless person and learns to get over matters quickly, rather than make a large fuss.

Riku is a classmate of Daisuke’s but, in the beginning, was not as close to him as her sister. She did, though, have feelings for him that she hadn't explored or admitted to herself, let alone anyone else. She becomes Daisuke's official girlfriend in volume six, where he finds out she always liked him ever since he did something quite kind for her when they were very young. She then went on a date with him and soon found out that he was Dark.

Dark, Daisuke's alter ego, appears to be attracted to her. Riku, on the other hand, despises Dark, whom she regards as a pervert. At first, she's uncertain that she will be able to come terms with the fact Daisuke and Dark are the same being, but she finally understands in the last volume.

Riku is less feminine than Risa, more down to earth, and really athletic. She is kind hearted and wants only the best for everyone and appears to be more intelligent that her sister. Riku is quite caring to everyone, especially to her sister, even when she has doubts about whatever Risa is thinking to be rational.
